Sea Salt Cottage - Mins to beach & shops Dog Friendly

Excellent host, very welcoming and helpful with all questions; cozy, spotless, well-kept place with nice garden; absolutely all amenities you could think of, including DVDs and perfect WiFi; quiet neighbourhood, but walking distance to Deal town center with shops and an astonishing array of great restaurants and pubs; 2 mins to smallish playground

Bathroom was larger than it appeared in the picture. Kitchen also bigger than expected, as it had a small dining table, which was very handy, plus dishwasher with some tablets provided. Dolce Gusto machine and pods to make coffee in the morning. Hand soap, washing up liquid, t-bags, coffee, sugar and foil supplied. Slept in bed in front bedroom, which was comfortable and I slept well. Dressing table and long mirrors in bedrooms were handy, hairdryer in drawer in front bedroom. No wardrobes but drawer space and hooks on back of all doors upstairs and hangers supplied on hooks on walls, which were more than sufficient. Heating was good and it’s a digital thermostat, (once you start turning the knob the temperature display flashes up). Our dog loved the garden so much it prompted zoomies every time he went out there, followed by a sunbathe and then a snooze indoors! We parked on a side road just round corner from house and close enough not to be an issue. Google Chrome Cast on TV, so we could watch Netflix. Wi-Fi good for mobile phone and IPad browsing. Host Natalie was very helpful in responding to any queries I had pre-arrival and we encountered no issues whilst we were there. We had meals at The Court Yard, The Kings Head and The Boathouse, which were all dog friendly.

Perfect little cottage for a cosy weekend away, easy to stroll into town and check out Deal. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely fireplace, garden and bathtub. We didn't want to leave!
