It had everything you needed including robes and slippers for getting in and out of the hot tub. The place was bigger than expected and clean and came with a little welcome basket. We were greeted by the hosts and couldn’t have felt more welcome. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The cottage was fantastic - super clean, spacious, luxurious and always seemed to be a lovely temperature. Jamie sent us a map to find the cottage and was there to greet us along with Allison. Inside it was totally gorgeous and I'd forgotten that there was a hot tub (which Jamie had got ready for us). There was a seating area to the side with a small fenced garden - perfect for letting the dogs out for a quick wee. Allison showed us around and they let us know where we could take the dogs for a good run (huge field just a couple of minutes walk away). It is a working farm so people need to be mindful of this and there are lots of rabbits so best to keep dogs on a lead if they would chase them. Everything was so well thought out - from the super delux shower, the large, fluffy white towels to the basket of goodies on the table, milk in the fridge and coffee machine (much needed after a long drive). I must also say that the beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Only 4-5 miles from the beautiful town of Barnard Castle, this cottage was perfect. It was a real "find" and we shall be returning when back in the area.
