Spacious two bedroom house, parking and WiFi

Only clean aspect about it was the bathroom. Rooms were relatively spacious for an airbnb, but not up-to hotel standards.

It was not very clean, some parts of the floor was sticky, and there was a terribly musty smell throughout the house and the one of the beds were itchy. As we arrived late in the night, the location was quite dark and hard to locate and had a very unsafe feeling. If you are somebody who is used to having flexible checkout times, then this property is not for you. The time on the website and the instructions from the owner had different check out times and even after requesting that we stick to the time that we viewed on the website, the owners were at the flat 30 minutes prior waiting outside to check us out. They were on the doorstep before we even left the house and due to this we had leave the property in a rush. The stairs were extremely narrow, hard to climb up and down especially with luggage suitcases, so we had to leave all our belongings on the ground floor. Online, the property had a 8.3 rating but it did not keep up to that satisfaction. The inside door in the kitchen did not have a lock so it was worrying as there was a light left on and no way to open the door or turn the light off.

Easy to self check in and check out. Nice large bedrooms. Lovely bathroom, all nice and clean. There are plenty of food outlets locally, which were really nice. Taxi into leeds Centre was £7. The host was nice and helpful. Would stay again if in leeds.

Stairs a bit steep, no problem for us but maybe difficult for other guests. The area is not great, but there are plenty of nice food venues locally.

On complaining on arrival the host provided missing cutlery, and crockery swiftly

Washing up left on draining board, only 3 cups, 2 cereal bowls and no spoons, which isn't great for 4 people staying bed and breakfast. The area is very off putting and most properties, including this on had bars and grills on windows and doors. Stairs to first floor very steep which my 71 year old sister in law struggled with, especially with a broken hand rail

Location

We stayed as 2 couples to attend an event at the arena. Loved the proximity to the city centre and arena and used taxis to and from. The home was beautifully clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of space for four people.

It wasn't a problem for us but the stairs to the second floor were quite steep so may need to consider if issues with mobility
