Characterful Cottage adjacent to an Orchard

Well equipped kitchen and a lovely quiet location

Parking is on the other side of a busy road and not affiliated to the property so not that secure.

The cottage looked lovely, and was well situated for Bristol airport. Good kitchen, sitting area, large shower and good looking rooms none of which we got to use

When we arrived we found that there was already another group there - they had booked through Airbnb and the cottage had been double booked. When they called the host he basically told us we had to sort it out ourselves - at 7.30pm they having had a drink and us with a young baby. Luckily booking.com customer service was brilliant and got us into a hotel, but it was a huge disruption to the beginning of our holiday and put paid to our plans of a quick dinner and early night. Beware, as apparently on Airbnb the owner had had this problem at least once before. The owner or provider provided us with instructions only that day, so this mistake should have been noticed when we booked a month before

The cottage is tastefully decorated with plenty of space for 4 people, even 5. Clean with all mod cons. Would definitely stay again.

Could do with an information booklet with how to use tv, cooker and microwave. Also, for local recommendations and directions.

Great cottage. Big open lounge and kitchen. So quiet. And close to Bristol. Attractive natural setting. Warm comfortable bedrooms.

Nothing not to like. You need to know the cottage is up a small alley and round the corner of the big house so maybe don't do what we did arriving late in the dark. And don't bring your big SUV. Also, you won't find the place simply by putting in the postcode. That might take you somewhere else entirely.
