Location

Cold in chalet , may explain the damp , but it is cold outside .

Well equipped and comfortable

Path leading to the front door impassable due to the deluge of bad weather. Had to walk across the grass

The location was great ,the lodge had all we needed .

There were a few problems mainly electrical. However the owner were very good to respond in a fast manner to get everything sorted .None of it was there fault .They have been kind enough to offer us a free stay for any hardships we may have faced. Many thanks very kind hosts who do there best to fix any Issues you may experience.

Everything really spot on ,no complaints whatsoever

Nice quiet and clean.

The bed was okay, there were no bed bugs and the table was big enough for 4 people to sit around comfortably.

Everything else. It was so cold I had to get extra blankets and a heater from a friend, there was only one pillow slip between 4 pillows. The kitchen was shocking, the only cooking facilities were a table top oven that was filthy and hobs on top of that high were too high to reach. The black mould, damp and the place itself was run down. I honestly thought that the ceiling was going to fall in, there are complaints from a year ago. The place has actually gotten worse in that time, the owners are happy enough to take your money but they’re not spending it to keep the chalet in good condition. It was also extension lead plugged into extension lead, the floor boards are raised causing a trip hazard. I had to move to a hotel due to the property being in its condition.

The chalet was In central location,and nice and quiet.

No mirror in the bathroom.

The surrounding are was lovely with attractive amenities, Chapel st Leonard's itself is well worth a visit, also fairly close to Skegness which we would recommend for a great family holiday.

The facility is in need of an "urgent "update, there wasn't even a number 65 on the door,we drove up and down before finding it,there was no lid on toilet seat, the shower head needs cleaning, most of the blinds were broken, some of the ceiling paper was pinned with drawing pins,there was no freezer only a fridge, some of the cupboard doors was stuck and difficult to open, the hotplate was dirty inside, it needs a new one,there's sticky tape holding an edging strip in kitchen area,there was a big hole in the wall of the double bedroom and also the hot water was nearly boiling, it was far too hot and needs attention. The information regarding the barrier number and Chalet code should have been sent to us the day before we left, and a no entry sign at the exit barriers would help, more than one person drove in wrong entrance before finding the right one.
