"Not for us"

Location

Close proximity to main road. 1 bedroom far too small for double bed, have to climb over bed to get to hanging space (no wardrobe or drawers). No empty cupboards in kitchen to store any food we brought. Food products left by past guests in cupboards, some were 2 years past use by date

"No 3 had everything we needed for our stay."

Clean well equipped great location for our tourism purposes . M&S up the road , with enjoyable restaurants especially Adam and Eve.

I cannot think of a negative since even the stairs with good bannisters were light work for us seventy plus years old.

"Excellent stay, lovely house, Alnwick is a very nice market town to visit and base yourself in."

Excellent location for local attractions, restaurants, pubs, 30 minutes drive or so to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses. Visitor parking available at rear of property, first come first served basis, as not allocated to property as such, there is also some street parking available nearby. Large, cosy three double bedroom house, clean, airy, everything provided for. Many thanks to the host(s) for leaving an excellent information bundle and a very generous welcome tray of goodies, the best we've ever had.

As with many holiday lets, there wasn't a clothes airer available for hanging up towels after showering, we hung them over the bedroom doors, the shower cubicle on the top floor was small and needed a shower caddy for shampoo and soap etc as they had to be left on the floor and being a tight space it was very difficult to bend down to pick them up.
