Really enjoyed our stay the old vicarage was perfect very comfortable and clean. Also the host sarah was so helpful. Would highly recommend.

No pub in village

I loved everything about The Old Vicarage, it is a beautiful building, spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable.. The hosts have thought of every detail so guests can have the best stay possible and Sarah was so welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent and well suited for dogs. I normally struggle to sleep on my first night away but the bed was so comfortable i slept soundly.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at The Old Vicarage and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The accommodation is beautifully presented, with a real sense of quality throughout. Everything was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable , and we had a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home straight away. Little touches like Prosecco and chocolates on arrival really made a difference and added to the overall experience. The location is ideal – just off the A1 yet peaceful and quiet, and within easy reach of the most beautiful beaches. Overall, this is a lovely place to stay with high standards throughout. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return in the future.

Couldn’t locate a hairdryer which would have been useful. Perhaps I wasn’t looking in the right place.

A beautiful character property with everything we needed.

The shower was tricky to operate. It would have been nice to have a slightly later check out time.

We had an absolutely perfect stay. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we could possibly need – and more. Every detail had clearly been thought through, which made it feel really special and welcoming. Sarah was a fantastic host – incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring everything was just right for our stay. It’s rare to find somewhere that ticks every box, but this truly did. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and well-considered place to stay.

We stayed here in February - myself, my husband and two grown up children. Given the season, we were looking for somewhere cosy and with character to spend time together. This was perfect! The house was absolutely immaculate, tastefully decorated, and the hosts were just lovely - going out of their way to help/provide little extras but not at all intrusive. There is a gorgeous beach close by and we had some lovely walks in Berwick. The host recommended a country pub for a meal out on our first night which we loved. You do really need a car to stay here but I thoroughly recommend it.
