Alnwick Holiday House - Charming, Historic, Central Alnwick with Courtyard

Central location and a lovely property to spend leisure time in. The wood burning stoves created a cozy, warm environment and a large kitchen/dining area is ideal for families.

Nothing in particular other than no downstairs cloakroom.

House had everything you needed ,location was good.

The single bed in the small bedroom was un comfortable,piece of wood was broken off it laid under the bed ,mattress did not fit and you could not close the door. Only other issue was the parking ,even though you are given a permit there was never any available parking till night time so had to park away from the property and move it later on .

Had a wonderful stay here, amazing location, walking distance to everything in Alnwick, accommodation had everything we needed

Central, easy parking, clean and comfortable. Excellent range of kitchen equipment. Private colourful courtyard; wood burner.

Unfortunately the colourful living room rug ‘rode up ‘ in 2 places, despite straightening it out.

The house was very clean and maintained. Location was excellent. Home from home. Lovely little touches. Would not hesitate to book here again 😊

Single beds were to soft for us but that is a personal preference. Did not spoil are stay.

Fabulous place to stay, lovely cottage excellent facilities, really comfortable. Convenient for Alnwick, the coast and the Cheviots, lots of walking and castles to visit. Great communication with the owners.

Request for 2x double beds to be made up not fulfilled. Smallest bed made up, not good for tall friend!! No instructions for washing machine. Grill, small oven didnt work

As soon as you walk in you see a very pretty well looked after house. It is a small terraced house, but it is tidy and very well equipped. It lifts you immediately to think this is going to be a good holiday. There is a lovely bathroom and one ensuite shower room. The location is excellent being 2 minutes from the front of Alnwick Castle and 3 minutes from the beautiful Hulne Park, which includes a Priory used for filming Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Alnwick is an attractive ancient town. There are hundreds of wonderful and historic places to visit and walk nearby.

There are 3 rooms but one is a bit of a box, but our son gallanty volunteered to take it to the delight of our daughter. A parking permit lets you trump the daily tourists outside the front which is good but I did not like the tone in which the owners warned that a failure to leave the permit behind would result in a financial penalty, and the permit expired 4 days after our trip anyway. They clearly and understandably want as little rubbish left behind as possible but it was a bit of a faff walking with recycables to a town location. I think it was a little overpriced.
