Bronte Cinema Cottage At Haworth

The property was located close to Haworth Main street and the walk was lovely. The property was bigger than we thought and had everything we needed.

Lovely cottage just on outskirts of Haworth town centre; easy to get too but as the town itself it is on a hill. Owner thought of everything to make the stay as home from home as he could.

Lovely and spacious and very clean! Also good parking and easy to get into the property.

The house was clean and relatively comfortable, if a little tired. eg. worn laminate in the sitting room/kitchen. The photos of the kitchen were accurate, and it was clean. Sadly no dishwasher (more later)

The distance from town was greater than expected and the hilly nature of the place made it impossible to walk into the village, so we had to drive in and pay for parking, which was ok but disappointing. The area around the house was run down, with the derelict (Brontë) cinema opposite and views of litter strewn back yards to the rear. Book in time began at 3pm and we had to vacate by 10 am next day which meant that we paid £180.00 for 3 of us for a 19 hour stay. given that, with no dish washer, we had to waste our precious time washing up after meals and drinks. The house might be ok for a gang of lads out on a cycling or walking weekend and for six would offer good value.

Comfortable, clean, convenient. Facilities were great, lovely cottage, location was good, parking was easy and communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend

The cottage was clean and comfortable . Parking outside on street no problem . Beds comfy , plenty pillows. Heating v easy to use. It’s just a short ten min walk from the Main Street . There is a pub that serves food just a few mins away . Nigel was communicative and although we didbt need assistance during our stay , I felt had we have done he would have been available.
