Bwthyn Bach Cozy country retreat

We had two dogs with us and the enclosed garden was ideal. Great facilities and lots of room. Very quiet which was lovely.

Nothing could have been better re the accommodation. A bit difficult to find initially, but then we were guided by locals.

Great location, peaceful but still close to Criccieth by car. Comfy beds, had everything we needed for a comfortable break. My daughter loved Elvis the donkey!

The location was perfect. Fran was so helpful and friendly leading up to stay. When we arrived we were not disappointed. Lovely stay, very clean. Even booked again to go back. Also lovely to spend time with the resident donkey, Elvis.

Could do with a firmer mattress, but know that's personal preference.

Sunny private garden, ideal for barbecue. Comfortable living area, bedroom and bathroom, generally well-equipped Washing machine Near to Criccieth and other places in Lleyn peninsula.

No oven or grill, which surprised us as the kitchen is otherwise well-equipped

Suitable kitchen & bathroom things provided for a short break. Furniture comfortable and access to outside seating area appreciated

This cottage is absolutely wonderful. An old school friend and I went on retreat to get away from the routine of a busy working life in the City and we actually didn't want to leave. This place is just perfect! Cosy, warm and welcoming. Wonderfully designed with everything you need for some quiet down time and outdoor activities alike. Local amenities (supermarkets etc within easy reach -short car drive ) Fran, the hostess and her family (and Elvis the donkey) are fab. We loved everything about it. Can not recommend it enough . x

The living room lamp would be better with a warmer glowing bulb, which would make it even more cosy
