Canal View Cottage with Log Fire & Parking

Excellent location for the canal, which was our reason for visiting.

I cannot think of anything.

The Log fire was great. Very well furnished and great provision of all one would hope to find in a home from home.

There were one or two “ issues” but very quickly and satisfactorily sorted by a great host.

Clean, neat, and well equipped.

Nothing, although a fan would've come in handy during the hot weather.

Lovely property, clean and comfy and nicely done up. Comfy beds and great location.

Quiet, rural setting yet only 10 minutes to m1 motorway and large supermarket. Very close to canal. Canal view is warm and comfortable all round. Upstairs was quiet enough to have baby sleeping soundly and we could be downstairs enjoying our evening.

The heating system let us down.friday night was wasted as we had no heating until 9.30.Then the hot water went cold with in a minute had to have owners around that night to try and sort it which was in our ime sowe lost a night.Then next day owner came back with engineer tofix problem but couldn't so half daywasted again no relaxing time.Was told water will be OK then that night took over an hour to run a bath.Was ment to be a relaxing and stress free weekend after a bad year.so totaly disappointed with the the whole experience all this should be checked before a client goes in spoilt the whole weekend and for £300 for 2nights unexceptable.was given £60 refund but should of been total refund

Fantastic location, gorgeous cottage. Loved the attention to detail and felt like a home from home. lovely and clean too. We would definitely stay again.

only thing to mention was the bed in the main bedroom was very hard so we ended up sleeping in the single beds. They were both lovely and comfortable so made us wonder if a mattress topper had be left off or the mattress had been turned the wrong way?
