Caban Bryn Arw

The location was breathtakingly beautiful. The hosts, Carol and George, were there to greet me, even though I had told them that I would be arriving late. The caban (shepherd’s hut) was comfortable, cosy and warm. All my friends want to go there now, as they think it is the perfect retreat!

Peaceful beautiful location, very friendly host, good advice on places to eat and local walks, excellent facilities especially the high speed Wi-Fi and very good shower.

Everything! Absolutely fantastic place, so cozy and cute. Spotlessly clean, in a lovely, quiet and private area. Our host was very helpful and welcoming. The weather couldn’t be any worse 😂 but it didn’t spoil our stay even slightly. We still went for a local walks and even borrowed bikes from our host at no extra cost. We would stay again without a hesitation. Thank you.

Perhaps an antislipery surface on the little path between the hut and toilet would be good, as it was very wet while we stayed, therefore very slippery. But it did not spoil our stay.

The cabin was so cosy, bedding was super comfy, the wood burner was also a lovely touch! Warmed up very quickly. The cabin and shower room were spotless. Outside of the cabin is a fire-pit with a shelter, table and chairs.. very romantic I must say haha. The owners were very lovely too! Leaving cookies, milk and all of the essentials needed for our stay. Our car broke down during the stay and we had to be rescued by the RAC. Once the car was fixed they even gave us a lift down to the garage. Couldn’t thank them enough! We would definitely return

Excellent location in the mountains so if you’re hiking this is defo a cozy retreat. Easy to get to via car. Good size cabin with plenty of light and ventilation. Wood burner was excellent and kept the cabin toasty for HOURS. The cabin is safe and secluded. The owners live nearby; welcoming and responsive to questions so if you need help they’re wonderful. The toilet and sink are a few steps away from the cabin in a separate unit….. late trips were intimidating but fun.

It was very cosy and is in a beautiful setting. The cabin is well equipped and clean.

Even better than the photos! So cosy - the perfect place to unwind and disconnect for a few days! Could’ve stayed forever!

The deck was pretty slippery after rain and I almost went flying, so I’d maybe recommend some kind of grip is applied as it could be pretty dangerous.

Absolutely gorgeous place, will definitely be back if you'll have us. Used the fire pit outside that was set up ready and gazed at the stars. Lots of wildlife and birds, wish I'd brought my binoculars! Equipped with everything we needed. A lovely warm welcome from George when we arrived then left in peace to relax. Just loved it x
