The house is large and spacious, with a beautiful view. Nice and quiet. Plenty of information provided on the house and area. Perfect for a get away with friends.

The views were beautiful. The layout was great and convivial. The accommodation was very comfortable. In good weather this would be a wonderful place to stay as there was a lovely patio and BBQ area.

There was a limited amount of crockery and cutlery. No manual dishwashing cleaning aids were available. It would have been helpful if we knew to bring wood and kindling for the stove. It was very windy which highlighted a significant draft and whistling wind through the front door.

Everything: the cottage is simply wonderful, furnished with everything, ideally clean beyond expectations, located on the hills just above Gatehouse of Fleet (2 min drive, 5 min walk) with an open view on the sea coast. Peace, nature and a true feeling of being in Scotland! Special thanks to the house owners for their generous and kind reception..
