Seaside Hideaway - Free Onstreet Parking

Loved the location and the apartment itself. Comfortable bed and all amenities covered.

Builders in flat above throwing cigarettes into the courtyard and very noisy at 6am. I was made aware of scaffolding on property before arriving but I would’ve preferred to know before booking.

Property had been refurbished and was nicely done

No Wi-Fi, noisy people above and workmen swearing and shouting from 8.00am everyday

A little more attention could be paid to cleanliness, cushions , bed throws grubby, kitchen pans dirty , plates old and chipped, cutlery stained needs a bit of tlc, location not very nice area drug addicts asking for money in street several times , ok if you don't have to walk to bus stops etc .

Inside was nice couldn't work heaters so was a little cold outside it looked really bad and needed work but all the property's on street did dog muck all over pavment (obviously not the property owners fault and it was a long walk into the main front we was fine with that but if you have trouble walking or smal children might be a little far overall we had a great stay property was clean had everything we needed sofa bed was a futon and very uncomfortable my 11 year old could feel all wood even with both toppers underneath himx and double bed was comfy just a very small double but we're used to a super king so we're being picky 🤣

Flat was cold.heaters weren't very good. Nice that it had been decorated since my last visit

the location was fantastic and the free parking. we stayed here 18 months ago and little has changed thought it was going through a revamp but maybe not as it was exactly the same !!!

mould ,damp, smell of urine .uncomfortable bed sette and needs a bigger bed in bedroom and maybe a small tv . the pictures are false on the booking site .the flat above was very noisy and when leaving early hrs in morning putting key in lock box near bedroom window wasn't very pleasant!! needs new flooring throughout too . all radiators have been taken out and the radiator shells just left looked a mess

The location and facilities were great. Right next to the sea.

There's damp and mould everywhere. We have 2 asthma sufferers in our family and they both woke up wheezy. The flooring is all blown and chipped. The sofa bed is tremendously uncomfortable not only as a bed but also a sofa. Definitely not enough seating for a family of four to relax infront of the tiny tv. What a waste of our hard earned money. It could be an excellent rental if they got a better sofa bed and they definitely need all the damp issues sorting.

Such a quaint little hideaway. Made our holiday so much better by the location. It was cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine and dryer were a god send. The furniture throughout the property was lovely. Gave it a nice old feel. For the price we paid I personally think it was a bargain. And also at the end of the day it’s only a place to rest your head after a long wonderful day strolling around Scarborough. The double bed by the way is very comfortable and the pillows seem to mould themselves around your head. Oh and the shower and toilet cubicles. At first I was puzzled by the 2 toilets and 2 showers but what a fantastic idea. No waiting we was out the house quicker because of it. Excellent.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable for my eldest and we ended up buying a blow up bed from millets but that solved that problem and with them folding out separate there was plenty of room for the inflatable bed. My youngest however didn’t complain once and was asleep before everyone. So once again it’s horses for courses. It could do with a freshen up and sorting out the damp, but that’s about it. As I said it’s only a place to sleep.

Leaving

Mould, missing flooring, missing sofa, false photographs on the website. Booking.coms inability to handle complaints. You can put photographs of the Hilton on there site and hire out you're shed and they are ok with this. They just blame the property owner. Then they hide there head office in Holland so trading standards cannot help.
