"Awesome stay, gorgeous cottage, and a proper Irish welcome, what's not to like?"

From the welcome we received, which was awesome, right down to the morning we left, the family, who live next door, were amazing. Never intrusive, but there to help if you call upon them. The owners Mum had left a 6 pack of crisps and two chocolate bars for our grandkids who were travelling with us, and all the bits you need for a first night, to make you comfortable after your journey. Superbly well equipped, and very homely, it's a lovely cottage, and you couldn't ask for nicer hosts. 'Mum' was poorly when we left, but we wish her a speedy recovery, and hope to see her next time we visit.

Exceeded our expectations. Lovely little touches and a nice cosy feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"The owner is nearby and if there is a question, all that is needed it to walk next door and ask."

Laurel cottage is in the country with few houses nearby, so it was quiet.

If you want to walk to a pub, you will need to book in the center of town.

House was spotless. Really comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Host was really friendly and helpful. Location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Central to visiting Belfast and exploring the north coast. Would definitely love to return sometime.
