We wish we could have stayed longer! Hot tub was extremely hot on the night we arrived so we had a quick dip and fully intended going back in. We did however get use of it on the morning we were leaving. The hot tub was excellent, so clean and all jets are powerful and exactly what you need to destress. We didn’t want to come out! The bed was extremely comfortable! I was worried as someone had said it wasn’t good in a previous review. It was so comfortable that once we’d unpacked we went for a ‘power nap’ We ended up sleeping through to 6 in the morning! We missed dinner and everything! Host had text to see if we needed the new heater they had bought. It was late November and they had the heating in pod to perfection. It was so warm and cosy! Host has taken on board all reviews on what people ‘didn’t like’ and has rectified all of them! They literally have things to a t! Loved the little cans of Irn Bru, tea, coffee, sugar and milk, along with some lovely biscuits and jam for your toast. What a lovely thought and very generous! The pod itself was extremely clean, the shower isn’t very powerful but it did the job. The hosts had also left hand wash and shampoo, they have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen had all you needed for an overnight stay, again, very clean. I will point out however, there is no oven. To be honest you don’t miss it with good quality hot plate, microwave, kettle and toaster but adjust your food shop with this in mind. I don’t want to say it was cheap, we’ll say inexpensive but you certainly get more than you pay for the pod, hot tub and overnight! Plus all the extras. Fantastic value for money! There’s also a very comfortable sofa and little table for your drinks. I was also worried as people had said they had a problem with tv and wifi. The tv worked perfectly and the wifi had a really strong connection. There are also dvds, again, they have thought of everything!

You do feel a little like you are on someone’s back garden to start with but you are given full privacy of the back garden pod and hot tub. All in all the positives override the negative reviews I have seen.

The Hot tub was great, lovely watching the stars whilst in tub. The kitchen was well equipped and there was handy information on takeaways and local restaurants that guests can use. Can’t comment on the owners as didn’t see them.

The mattress was really hard and affected sleep, for this reason we won’t be returning which is a shame as everything else was fine.

Everything we needed was catered for, very clean , spacious and hot tub was excellent for relaxing.

The atmosphere was so cute! We loved the hot tub and how responsive the hosts were to leaving the hot tub on longer. They were also very accommodating about drying our swimwear despite us not utilizing that. Lovely stay, would highly recommend!

The mattress could be more comfortable, but everything else was perfect!

Modern and well appointed

Slight compressor or other mechanical noise all through the night (may be we should have turned the hot tub off). Not a real issue in the autumn but expect the single heater would struggle to warm the place in the winter.
