Fisherman's Cottage

Location was great and relatively easy to find after a very long and dark night time trip from London. Cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. Felt like a genuine home. St Mawes a very pretty English seaside village and we had a great walk on the Salt Path to St Just.

Slightly tricky back door locking (perhaps only for Australians!) Also, during our stay in the post-Xmas period many places, shops, cafes, hotels and even the St Mawes Castle, were closed. The RisingSun Hotel was open and excellent.

Great location and had everything we needed for our stay . It was nice and warm with a wood burner fire for the evenings . The host was very quick to respond and friendly and helpful .

I felt the plastic strip on the bottom of the shower door should be replaced as it was old and mouldy. Also I felt under the sofas should be cleaner as upon retrieving dog balls it was quite dirty under there .

A lovely little cottage, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A very short walk to the pubs or beach.

I love the proximity to the harbour and the sun deck at the rear of the cottage.
