STABLE HOUSE - Eton WINDSOR

Shame there was no parking on site, but otherwise, it was very good.

Location as we went to Ascot Races.

Easy walking to castle and lots of fun shops.

main bathroom a little dark, small. Per the pictures on Booking.com, I thought we'd have better..closer views of the castle and the Thames. The backyard garden..porch area was overgrown...untidy.

We liked everything: the house is very comfortable, cozy, quiet, perfect for a family with two children and the location is fantastic - we could walk everywhere.

The only thing we didn't like was the low downstairs bathroom door: my husband hit his head there several times, it is a lower than normal door. A warning sign to put on the door/floor or a soft pad on the top door frame would help.

The location was great, the cottage was very clean

The second bedroom doesn’t have a double bed, more like a bigger single bed, The bathroom is downstairs leading off the kitchen which I was surprised about as not very hygienic. There is a toilet upstairs which looks like built in a cupboard. Stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep. I was very disappointed in the garden, the photos made it look like you could sit overlooking the Thames, in reality it’s overgrown and the Thames can never be seen from the garden

The house was very sweet, comfortable and clean. Great location and close to everything we needed.

Shame about the parking as the drive belongs to a neighbor and they didn't seem to use it all? We parked in a car park locally after off loading our car.

Great location on a quiet street.

Wish it had a clothes dryer, but it was so warm our clothes dried just fine outside.

Stable house is a little gem. A very sweet cottage overlooking the river Thames, with a good view from upstairs. Both bedrooms are doubles and very comfortable. Great location, just off Eton High Street.

There was nothing to dislike.
