The Old Hay Shed

The Hay Shed was just lovely. Beautiful decor, layout and facilities

The bathroom door could have a sheet of Perspex over it or something like that to give a little noise privacy when using the loo. Otherwise it was stunning. The balcony was lovely but it would be nice to have access to a little bit of the garden behind.

Fantastic communication with host. Probably the best ever. Beautiful space, light and airy with quality fittings. A few steps away from all the action and everything Cartmel has to offer. Some walks from the door, if walking over to Grange over Sands, easily manageable but with some steep climbs. We've already booked to go back!!

Lack of plugs near mirrors for drying of hair, a very small detail.

The bathroom door. It was beautiful but would have preferred more privacy! Shame there was no downstairs toilet.

Beautifully converted village house into a luxurious holiday home. Some absolutely stunning features including the first floor outdoor area overlooking the village, with heater and snuggle throws on the couches; enormous beautiful bedroom and bathroom.

A slightly more well equipped kitchen would have been good ( eg more pans and gadgets) as we love to cook when on holiday when we have more time, but the hob and ovens were good, a spacious fridge freezer and wine store were all great. We’d also have liked a vacuum cleaner just to keep the place spic and span during our stay.
