Charming original fishermans cottage on Dungeness beach

An amazing property to stay in . The location was incredible immersed in nature with a beautiful sunset . The cottage was clean and very cosy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay . It went beyond our expectations and we can’t wait to visit again .

The unique location

The weather was exceptionally cold for the time of year.... But that was not anyone's fault. We were warm and cosy inside.

The cottage was very well equipped, warm and attractively decorated. The location was convenient for the shingle, the pub and the scenery. Excellent botany, good birds.

A car is really needed. Public transport is eccentric.One should be aware that it is a long way to the nearest shop, and also to the RSPB reserve. For older people the stairs might be a challenge. There is effectively no internet in the area so the house WiFi doesn't help. The host would save money if the heat insulation were better.

Cosy cottage, good location

I found the bed very hard.

Lovely log burner (with logs and firelighters supplied). Comfortable bed. Wonderful location. Great facilities. Nicely decorated and presented, feels cozy but not cramped. Little details like USB chargers by the bed, milk in the fridge, coffee tea etc. Even had a Christmas tree up. Had everything we needed for a weekend break. Right opposite the ‘Grand Designs’ house. Also - it was *Spotlessly* clean everywhere (even the floor behind the toilet in the bathroom). Perhaps the best cleaned home we have ever rented.

This is a nitpick that tells you everything - if this was all we can find to say. The bath towels could be a bit larger!

Fantastic location with brilliant views from inside and sitting outside the property. Good facilities and very clean and comfortable.
