Little House

So easy and notified by the owners where we could contact them if needed. The house is lovely and I will highly recommend this cottage, spotlessly clean and the treats an unexpected bonus.

Little House is in a fabulous position in Porlock. Easy stroll, 2 minutes,into the village and all it offers On first arriving, the interior was welcoming and eclectic in taste. A nice welcome pack was left to greet us . The bedroom and bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fabulous in its design and equipment. The kitchen supplied all you needed , bar a milk jug (personal preference) . However, a new settee is needed as the one supplied has lost all its comfort due to having lost all firmness, and the two little side chairs do not offer relaxing comfort either . This is our only negative thing. The weather was sunny, so we got to use the patio, which in the hight of the summer would be beautiful to sit out as lots of little lights surrounding it. A parking permit was organised by the owners. This is needed as only place close (1 minute walk ) to park your car.the hosts are easy to access. One extra note , The stairs are very steep , but two 77 year olds managed them ! All in all, I would highly recommend this cottage for two people .

Lovely property tastefully modernised in an excellent position in the village The hosts were immediately contactable and flexible because our requirements changed during our stay.The welcome pack was a nice touch .

Nothing to dislike from our perspective but the staircase could be an issue for those with mobility issues

Little House had everything you could possibly need and was finished beautifully. The log burner was a real highlight and the location right next to town but still quiet, was great

unfortunately there was a drip in the bedroom, it didn't cause any issue apart from the sound which meant I had to sleep downstairs on the last night. The water only coming on for a few hours twice a day also made things a little tricky at times.

Cosy cottage with high quality fittings, very comfortable.

Perfect location. Clean and tidy. Hosts were always available to answer any questions or queries. For a couple or small family you couldn’t want for anything

It was exceptionally clean and all fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality.

The stairs were a bit tricky and would be difficult for more elderly people.
