Lots of spacious rooms . Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, children’s playground .

Water system didn’t provide enough water for a bath. WiFi was a bit slow . Didn’t get any information about how to get in. When we arrived the keys were in the door , but would have Bern nice to get a message .

Although not ideal, the location minimally helped serve the purpose of our trip.

From our very first visit, there has always been a problems at The Stable. From an unusable rusty inside of a microwave (that had to be replaced due to it being a health hazard), the crockery/pans/kitchen utensils always needing washing before being used, lights not working, broken toilet seats, etc. I have previously contacted & spoken with Ffion (owner) to attempt to rectify the problems whilst there. This time I contacted them before hand, when making the Booking to point out things that were unsatisfactory on our last visit. I mentioned that the loo seat in the bathroom (wet room for use of the infirm) in the bedroom on the ground floor, was very loose. My 75 yo Mom uses that room & toilet (due to having difficulty being able to climb the stairs). I received a reply 0n 6 July from The Stable via Booking.com to say “Thank you for highlighting the issues you have had previously whilst staying with us and rest assured we have already dealt with these points.” This was a lie! When we arrived on 6 Aug, as soon as we walked in to property we noticed damp & mould in the corner of the kitchen walls. I’d had a 6 hr drive from Yorkshire & looking forward to some r & r, but that was not to be. Before we could even enjoy a hot drink, we had to wash up the cups because they weren’t clean. Out of the 3 toilets in the property only one was working properly. I emailed The Stable (via Booking.com) to tell them that I was unhappy that they hadn’t fixed the toilet seat like they said they had & asked that they call me to discuss that & other problems at the accommodation, I called the owners several times, left messages on the mobile voicemail asking to be called back, but was never called back. Eventually I spoke with a Mr Davis' who said 'these things happen.' I did put my experience & complaint in writing to Ffion & as of 31 Oct I have had no reply.

Access and parking was fab, lots of room and plenty of space for the little one to run around in. Yhe dogs were also welcomed! Good amenities

The bathrooms were quite dated, silicone needs replacing and just general wear and tear. The beds in the large family room were just awful, very uncomfortable to sleep in and I couldn't actually sleep properly. I have a firm mattress at home but this one was like sleeping on wood. Creaky floorboards which can't be helped but annoying trying to have a secret middle of the night toilet visit without waking the little one.
