Hay Retreats

Great views, brilliant location, loved the terrace area where we ate our fish and chips, opening of ‘wall’ in lounge, clean. Appreciated the welcome pack and information about local pubs, walks etc. We ate at The Three Tuns our first night, which we all enjoyed as we sat outside and then had takeaway fish and chips our second night, which was delicious. We tried both the walks that were suggested, preferring the one along the river to the meadow and stone beach.

Upstairs toilet made a strange noise every 5 minutes, which was annoying for the person who slept in the smallest room.

This property is in a great position a very short walk into hay on wye , it is very comfortable, and well equipped

Perfect location

The property is absolutely gorgeous, rooms are all spacious and beautifully furnished. Perfectly situated for a gentle stroll into Hays town centre, would definitely stay again.

The porch entrance wasn’t pleasant with cobwebs etc covering the mailbox and utility boxes, areas in the main house also had cobwebs especially on the book piles and around the windows in the bedrooms

Location .Very comfortable house .Light and airy

Terrace could have been tied up a bit, and the handrail and area to front right needs attention.We had travelled from Kent, so a long drive .It would have been nice to have been left some milk.The shelf in the ensuite needs fixing and no toilet roll holders in the other toilets. Instructions for the TV would have been helpful.

Balcony area, kitchen a lovely sociable area. Very comfortable beds and location is brilliant.

Everything you could think of was included in the accommodation. So beautifully presented, in the centre of the village including parking.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely location overlooking the river and easy walk into the centre. Beautifully decorated throughout with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. And we were lucky to have some great weather so enjoyed sitting out on the outdoor terrace.
