Stayed for 3 nights to do some hillwalking in the area. Great communication with the hosts David & Beverley. Lovely location. Ideal place to come home to after a day on the hills. Had everything we needed.

property was accurately described and very clean and comfortable. The owners were direct and communicated very well. The property represented excellent value for money and I would happily use them again. overall an excellent place to stay

The cabins were well equipped and comfortable.Howerever we were there when storm Amy came and were then without power for the rest of our stay. We were unable to leave as the roads were closed due to trees falling and some landsides. After a few hours, the owner set up a fire pit, and we were able to cook up some of the food we had. It was an adventure that we wil remember for a long time. We were also anle to see some deer that wandered through the grounds.

Very comfortable space, well equipped. Nice attentive host. Great location - very quiet but close to everywhere.

Had issues with the shower pressure on the last two days and couldn't shower properly. Everything very good otherwise.

On arrival, before seeing or getting access to property, had to give £100 for damage/cleaning deposit. I’ve never had to do this with any property booked before anywhere. Didn’t feel very welcoming. There felt there were a lot of ‘rules’, to follow, including prior to departure to do a ‘reasonable clean, hoover carpets, take linen off beds, put into laundry bags, open windows, take out rubbish etc’. Felt excessive & that we were having to clean the property rather than cleaners! Felt it was quite expensive for a 2 bedroomed property, with dated kitchen /bathroom.
