We had a very bad experience here. One of the dining table chair legs snapped when one of our group simply pushed back from the table during an evening meal. This resulted in them falling back into the middle of kitchen floor. Luckily they avoided injury. We took videos of chair legs on the other chairs that were loose and wobbling, in case the owners tried to put blame on us. They did in fact do this, and charged us £50 of our damage deposit because of the incident, which is simply ridiculous. We tried to resolve the issue through booking .com and get the £50 back, but they just allowed the owners to just say no. As well as this the kitchen facilities were poor, such as very old pans and certain utensils not present. We would never stay here again.

David and Beverly are very friendly and courteous hosts. The cabin itself is simply but functionally equipped. We particularly liked the great location directly in nature with walking possibilities directly from the house, the panoramic window in the living room and the seating in front of the house. We would love to come back anytime!

Het is een leuk huisje, alles is netjes en schoon! De eigenaren Berverly en David zijn erg behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk! Ze hebben ons veel tips gegeven wat we konden doen in de buurt! De locatie was echt perfect, je zit aan de rand van het bos waar je heerlijk kan wandelen en je kan vanaf hier heel goed alles in de highlands bezoeken! Alles is op max 1 uurtje te rijden.

"Knus huisje in een prachtige omgeving"

De locatie was top, een bosrijke omgeving met een voederplek voor ons raam. Vinken, spechten, rode eekhoorns en herten gezien. En de kinderen vonden de kippen en Amber, de kat van de host, erg leuk. David en Beverley zijn erg vriendelijk en gaven tips voor mooie wandelroutes, zoals bij het dichtbij gelegen Creag Mèagaidh met prachtig uitzicht op het loch (zie foto). Daarnaast ligt Roybridge natuurlijk in de buurt van Fort William met alle bezienswaardigheden.

De badkamer is wat gedateerd, maar functioneel.
