the Searle cottage is beautiful. The split level really gives it character. The bedroom is large and spacious with a really comfortable bed and a door from the bedroom leading right out to the hot tub. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped with plastic wine glasses and cups to take into the garden and a dishwasher and dishwasher tablets provided. The garden is large and secure and the hot tub is clean and also really big. There’s even a stand alone brolly that can go over the tub if it’s raining.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. Just for the sake of others though, don’t forget to bring your own toiletries. There’s no shampoo and I was keen to get in the tub on arrival and then jumped in the shower after to clean the chlorine off to find no shampoo or shower gel provided

Amazing area with a lovely walk by the river, we was so lucky to be able to use the hot tub so that was a bonus on my birthday! Very clean place the view was amazing overall so pleased with it!

The only thing for us was as we had an elderly dog and we had to carry her up the stairs in the lodge but she enjoyed getting a bit more tlc than the other dog so she didn’t mind!

Convenient to have the garage store very close by. The newly enclosed garden area is now much more private and the new garden furniture is convenient on sunny days.

The local walking area from the cottage to the river bank and then along the river bank is now very overgrown with ferns. This is not the responsibility of the cottage but it does detract from what was, on the previous visit, an enjoyable experience.

We had an amazing time, great location with plenty to do nearby. We were a group of 10 plus an under 1 and a dog, so had a 2 bed and the 3 bed, which was huge! Perfect place for all the family to socialise in. Sarah was a great host, thank you we had a great time. We will definitely be booking again soon.
