Penny Plot Cottage

Lovely peaceful setting and had everything we needed. The management rang to make sure we were OK on 2nd day.

The beds felt damp on 1st & 2nd night. May I suggest putting the heating on in bedroom prior to arrival.

Especially liked Mia Rose who came to our rescue when the keys didn’t open either of the doors. We waited 20 minutes and she drove from her office after hours and got us in.

Only the trouble getting in

Lovely views from the cottage, everything I needed in the cottage, was brilliant for people who has a dog travelling with you.

It was a steep walk back up to the property from Lyme Regis, but overall was a lovely place to stay, thank you.

Quiet location, with lots of outside space. Saw deer, birds, nesting birds in the garden.

Kitchen could be better equipped.

Great location and a really private space for us all. It's very handy to have the parking so close to the cottage, there is also a lovely view of the hills and the sea.

Damp. The cottage smelt strongly of damp and our bedding was damp. ( clean bedding but it had taken on the smell of the property ) we ended up leaving the heating on high and the windows open trying to dry the cottage out. In the evening we would place our bedding on the radiator to remove the damp feeling. I'm sure this is a lovely cottage in the summer but it wasn't a great stay for us at the end of October.

Secure garden (great for dog), car parking and easy to walk to town

Very uncomfortable living furniture, difficult to get comfortable in evening, which was a pity as otherwise pleasant stay
