Cottage in Udabno

The two cottages are very nice. They are exactly as shown in the pictures, in the middle of a field (hence we had pigs passing by in the morning, which was very sweet). The rooms are not big, but not small either, and are provided with everything you may need for a short stay. The beds are comfortable and the bath is clear. You get to the third bed via a wooden stair, so you should be careful when going upstairs/downstairs. The place is very convenient if you want to visit David Gareja monastery, which is about 20 minutes far by car. The place is very close (one minute walking) from two restaurants where you can have breakfast and dinner, which are not provided for by the cottage. There is no check-in counter, the hosts simply come out form their place to hand over the keys once you inform them you are there, but this was not a problem as they were very responsive.

Everything was very nice. Just to note that the rooms are not provided with a hairdryer. Furthermore, you will find the cottages immediately once you arrive in Udabno, but they are not in the village itself, hence the whole place may look a bit desolate, especially if you get there in the evening/night, as we did, since there is barely any light in that area. Also, you may see quite some dogs welcoming you once you get there, but they are not dangerous, at the most a bit loud.

Set in the extraordinary isolated town of Udabno, views of grassland, pigs, cows and distant hills. Good location for Davit Jared Monastery. Oasis restaurant near by excellent.

Mattress a bit lacking in comfort. But a charming pod to spend a couple of nights in.

A very nice A-frame cottage overlooking green meadows. The house is cozy and equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle and cups/dishes etc. A comfortable large bed. It's so nice to observe animals (cows, sheep, goats) sitting on the terrace. At least two restaurants are just round the corner. There is a small grocery store within a 5 minutes' walk. The host is very friendly. Recommended!

Very modern, comfortable. Quite unexpected for Georgia. Great idea to have two bungalows in the middle of a paddock for animals but all fenced around. Very quiet. I loved it

Nice location, close to one of the only Udabno restaurants. Very clean and comfortable.

A smalle table and two chairs would add to comfort.
