Super Lake District Cottage in Heart of Kendal 3 Double Beds

The property was tricky to find but Alex sent us a very detailed instructions on how to find it! The house is very well equipped from hairdryers to a washing machine. The beds a very comfortable and the area is very quiet it’s hard to believe you’re so close to the high street.

The property could do with some extra chairs for the kitchen area.

Great location. Quirky characterful house with very comfy beds, great showers, nice outside space to relax after a day’s walking or first thing with a cup of coffee.

Everything starting from the host to the condition of home

The cleanliness of the house could have been made better for sure. My mum who accompanied me on this trip ended up with a severe reaction to something in the house. I noticed there were many small flys and the beds downstairs were extremely uncomfortable for my family. They were not able to sleep all night which resulted in us leaving 2 days before. We could only bare one night at this house although we had booked for 3. There was a terrible smell in the house as soon as we walked in and the toilets make a very loud noise too. I am not complaining about the condition of the house due to it being old I was expecting the creaks and the old design however, cleanliness should be made a priority if you are renting your property.

The stairs were super creaky and so was the upstairs bed; also thicker curtains would be ideal. Other than that, it was really really lovely, thank you
