"Wonderful cottage"

The cottage was exceptionally clean and the kitchen well equipped. The lounge furniture was extremely comfortable, particularly the swivel chair which I claimed for the duration of our stay! The shower was powerful and the bed comfortable. The owners live next door and were very friendly and informative. The village has 7 pubs, all of which are dog friendly and we enjoyed them all. The walking opportunities in Castleton are fantastic and we were fortunate to have glorious weather. The best review I can give is that we intend to return

The cottage was just beautiful. Warm and cosy and super clean too! We loved our weekend here. Great location for walks and a cheeky pub crawl as all shops/pubs were so close by!

Nothing that we didn’t like, it was perfect, we can’t wait to come again!
