Location and garden

Dirty, smelt musty. Decor very outdated. Previous people’s empty toiletries still in shower. Bedding in summer house was not fresh. Crockery and cutlery not clean. Oven had old food stuck in it. Bunk beds and 2nd bedroom not suitable for adults, too small. I slept on settee in lounge for the 4 nights we were there.

The outside space is excellent lovely long garden leading to a summer house at the bottom, a lovely spot for pre-dinner drinks. The facilities are good with lots of crockery & cutlery & pots & pans. Lots of information was made available about the area which was useful. Parking no issue, we parked up the road outside another, larger, property about 70 yards from front door.

It was a very cosy, and absolutely perfect for our needs… a home from home, and in such a beautiful and scenic location. The village pub and shop were very good too, and you could walk to the beach across the fields in 15 minutes! The hosts also provided a surprise basket of goodies, like proper coffee, a bottle of red wine, dog chews and poo bags etc so thoughtful - kind touch 😊

The cottage was homely and had a feeling of warmth and comfort to it in every room. Traditional not overly modern in any way, positioned in the quaint street it felt like it was a home from home. With all the basics it was clean and cosy.

I didn’t like the bunk bed set up particularly although someone had to draw the short straw, I was with my daughter and the cottage was designed to accommodate a younger family, I slept well mind you, so it wasn’t too bad. The main adult bedroom looked super cosy.

The Cottage was perfectly situated for our visit to the Llyn Peninsula. It was quaint and comfortable with a homely feel. The village was lovely with a shop and pub. The owner was very accommodating.

The property is a lovely cosy cottage with plenty of space for myself, 2 children and 3 dogs. It had everything we needed, clean and the garden was perfect for the dogs. The location is perfect!
