GRGRΌλα ήταν υπέροχα! Η διακόσμηση, οι παροχές, η τοποθεσία, η θέα!!!! Ο,τι καλύτερο σε διαμονή έχουμε ζήσει μέχρι σήμερα. Το eastern wind home είναι ένας από τους κύριους λόγους που λατρέψαμε την Σκύρο!!!! Παιδιά σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα, καλή αντάμωση!

GRΊσως η καλύτερη θέα στο νησί. Οριακά δεν θέλαμε να φύγουμε από το μπαλκόνι. Γεμάτη κουζίνα για φουλ πρωινό για τουλάχιστον δύο μέρες. Πέντε λεπτά περπάτημα από τη χώρα και επίσης πολύ καθαρό.
Το μόνο αρνητικό για κάποιους ίσως είναι η μηδέν ηχομόνωση της τουαλέτας.
GBFrom the minute I walked into this clean, airy, beautifully decorated “home” to stepping onto the (secluded) balcony with the most spectacular view over the bay, I loved it! Lots of windows (all with shutters) floods it with daylight, winds blow through at certain times of the day. The “home” feels very cosy yet spacious. What a wonderful surprise to find a well stocked fridge ready for a breakfast feast ie home made marmalade, eggs, bread, oranges, mini butters and coffees, teas, sugar, excellent olive oil, salt and pepper, thoughtful touches. All space utilised to the max eg compact bathroom yet reasonably sized shower. Mosquito mesh on every window. Good WiFi. Very comfy large bed on the traditional Skyrian mezzanine floor. There’s also a terrace with seating, up a few more steps. Cleaned midway through my stay at an arranged time. The “home” is about 2/3 up on the mountain, on a road that ends by Rupert Brooke’s statue. There’s parking here or on the street. The climb up and down to the beach will have you returning home much fitter (there is a direct steep pathway) or it’s approx €5 by taxi from the beach. 5-15 mins walk into Chora’s main street, the village square, lots of shops, cafe/bars, restaurants. Or walk 15 - 20 mins up to visit the monastery & Castle. Near the village square, I believe the supermarket (by the bus station & taxi rank) will deliver to your door, eg bottles of water but check. FYA the “home” is on the 3rd floor, lots of steps but the host very kindly took my big suitcase up and later down. In the evenings the steps are well lit (another thoughtful touch). Early risers will enjoy a stunning sunrise from the balcony! Can’t wait to stay here again! The hosts are amazingly kind and helpful people. Kiria Konstantina (hostess) was always available and easy to communicate with. Efharisto para poli!

GRThis one bedroom maisonette is decorated with so much love and attention to detail. The sea view is amazing, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony, and the beach is just a 15 min walk away. It is also just a few minutes on foot to the main town, but still incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts are very welcoming, and stocked the fridge with a rich variety of breakfast items - eggs, toast, oranges, cheese, honey, and even homemade jam. This is definitely a 10/10 and if we ever come back to Skyros, we will sure to stay here again.
