Plumbing drains not too efficient, electric sockets were not well fixed, sound of walking from wooden deck at night was terrible—maybe rug would help?

Plenty of room, well set up with large refrigerator and kitchen facilities and added food & water by the host, comfortable bed, the outdoor area under the pergola, the view, it’s position to restaurants, and the kindness and help from the hostess.

Access to our bed. We are an elderly couple and had to climb a couple of steps and crawl along the bed to lie down.

The hospitality of the owners was beyond great. The house was clean and well-equipped with everything. While breakfast was not included they provided the basics, plus fresh fish to make lunch. The apartment has everything (kitchenware and main ingredients to prepare yourself a breakfast or a meal). We loved the small balcony in the garden. Pedi is the best place to stay if you spend your vacations in Symi. It is a beautiful and quiet village to relax and enjoy your vacations. The visitor has access to everything (a beach bar, taverns by the sea, a mini-market) and is well-connected (a bus goes to the town every hour + there are water taxis and trip-boats to visit other beaches).

Being in a village house, you have to be prepared for insects. Surprisingly there were not many mosquitos but there were a lot of ants even inside. The visitor has to be prepared to clean right after they prepare everything edible or/and not forget anything on the table or anywhere that ants can consider as a treat for them. It was not a serious problem, but we had to keep it in mind. While lying on the bed expect a low wifi-reception. At every other spot of the apartment, the reception is pretty good though. Pedi is rather a small port than a beach. Expect to take a swim between small fish boats and yachts. The waters are crystal clear (different kinds of small fishes swim all around), and it is more than pleasant to swim in them though.

We loved every single moment spent at this little studio…. You cannot imagine such a beautiful location that is the place of your Greek dreams! From the moment you open the shutters you are in another world. The location of this little gem is perfect in every way. Pedi Bay is quiet but always has something to see, from the fishermen going out in the morning to the yatchs mooring for the night. The studio is well equipped with all that you need for your stay. Helen and her family (Ioannis and his humour are just the best!!!) are considerate, are kind and thoughtful - an amazing cake was waiting in our fridge on my birthday. Vegetables picked from the garden were also shared….not something you would get in a faceless hotel!! Lefkadio Studio at Vegghera House is simply wonderful!

There is nothing wrong in this paradise!
