Hollyhock Cottage

Lovely clean cottage. Very comfortable beds. Wood burner and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for lovely little cottage. Large area to park. Great information from host who answered my questions very quickly and was very helpful. Would highly recommend and would return again the the future.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Location - it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but there is lots to do within 30 mins drive. it’s a beautiful cottage - the beams are gorgeous and the garden is lovely too Facilities are high quality and the beds are very comfy! Provided a highchair as well as a travel cot. Also had toddler cutlery and dishes available which is always helpful! Communication by host is excellent. We had a small issue whilst there and host dealt with it quickly and efficiently.

Can you fall in love with a house? I think you can because we did, the moment we arrived in this warm and cozy cottage. There really was nothing not to like: the Christmas decorations, the comfortable rooms and lovely kitchen, the conservatory, there was a fireplace (so instead of going out we prepared dinner and ate before the fireplace ;) Another plus: my husband who is fairly tall didn't bumped his head for the first time in a cottage ;-) The location is perfect to go to Ashford or visiting Canterbury, there are supermarkets not far away and the snow made the Christmas feeling complete so we are definitely coming back here!

Nothing to dislike, just maybe a curtain next to the front door so the warmth stays in longer :) And of course our stay was wayyy to short so next time we'll stay much longer :)

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Everything was just perfect, from the kitchzn to the cosiness of the living room, with its lovely chimney!! The dining area was perfect for our big lunches and dinners and the beds were really comfortable. The surrounding is very calm and restful.

There needs to be doors between the conservatory and the lounge area, and between the front door and the lounge area because it was cold despite the heating being on.

Location was good for us, near where we wanted to be. Plenty of parking. Lots of space and seating. All very clean. Great to have two bathrooms.

Only drawback during the stay was that the showers ran out of hot water when four of us used them in quick succession on the last morning.
