Sofia is wonderful and prepared us a giant (and lovely!) breakfast everyday. location is close to all the main sites and felt very well cared for

shower is slightly small - not a huge issue forpst people, but something to be aware of

We chose Sofia’s place for somewhere to stay for one night before flying home. There were three of us. A couple and a friend. It was the perfect location for exploring the old town and we had our own quiet little patio which was a delight. It is a compact space but very comfortable. Sofia is wonderful and a force of nature! She is friendly and helpful and made us the most amazing breakfast at exactly the time we said. It was such a treat! Thank you Sofia! Such a great value for money.

Some cups would have been good. But we managed by buying coffee nearby and reusing! This is just advice to Sofia. No criticism.

I will not repeat what others have said about the location and the breakfast, all very nice.

We had to wait for about 30' for the host to give us the key to the appartement. Also, she went in first, to finish making the beds and cleaning (it was 4pm). The direction is not correct, as you enter from behind ("par. 1i paga" on Google). way too small for 4 people, ok for 2.

We had a wonderful stay where we felt truly cared for by lady Sophia. She was a wonderful host who brought us oranges from her garden and surprised us with a delicious homemade breakfast at 6 am. True Cretan hospitality! The location is fantastic, in old town just a few steps away from the harbour and the cute little alleyways. We highly recommend it to anyone!

I didn’t realise we would have a lovely breakfast included. Freshly cooked Cretan delicacies and they were delicious. Plus the yoghurt and honey was yum. Lovely area with lots of restaurants, shops, and pretty alleyways nearby. Just a few minutes walk from the harbour. Lovely Olive wood carving shop around the corner. Might be tricky for somebody with mobility issues due to steps and up a hill but I managed it with a slightly sprained ankle. Sofia kept every thing clean and provided fresh towels daily and unexpectedly made our beds daily and hung jackets we’d left on chairs. Our apologies for being a little untidy but it was like a little fairy had been in to tidy up 😊

We had a kettle but no cups. Perhaps some cups could be left to be used? I could have asked but didn’t want to disturb Sofia although I’m sure she would have accommodated us. Mattress is very firm.

We arrived very late at 1:30 in the morning. Sofia was waiting for us and made us welcome. In the morning, she brought us Greek coffee and a Cretan breakfast. The loction is ideal as Sofia's Home is in Chania Old Town.

The lady was very qindly, the location is great in the middle of everything like bars, shops, sea in the area of old town and in the same time quite. Thank you Sophia

Very close to the Old Town - restaurants, gift shops, etc. Short walk to the Harbour. Relatively spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, good working a/c.

Sofia was a bit cranky on arrival, primarily because of guests arriving late night/early morning, and we couldn't get into our room to check in. Not sure she understood or listened to what we were saying. Her English wasn't great (but my Greek was non-existent) and her instructions were a bit hard to follow. She wasn't super responsive to emails or phone calls, so clarifying arrival/departure times was left a bit up in the air. Sofia did perk up the next day, and brought us a sumptuous breakfast, which made up in part for the previous day's communication breakdown.
