Owners live right next door and the lady is quite overpowering, you feel like you are being watched at all times
SIThe house is beautiful, in a good location, with a good starting point for exploring the Basse terre side of the island.
The beach closest to the house is nothing special.
GBThe maps and satnav location worked a treat and the owners were waiting for us to explain how things worked and showed us the best place to swim. We arrived Sunday evening and the shops were closed, but there was water, bread cheese and butter in the fridge and the owner also gave us coffee tea and milk to tie us over to the next day.. they could not have been more welcoming and helpful. There was also anti mosquito lotion and candles. And ingredients to make ti rum cocktail.😊 The bedrooms have air conditioning and the beds are very comfortable. The bedrooms all had a doubles which didn't bother us, but something to be aware of. We were there with 6 adults and it never felt crowded as there is seating indoors and outdoors and 2 good bathrooms. The house is nicely decorated and there are books about the island and details for walks. There is a washing machine which was really useful and a large towel was provided per person. There is also a telly with Netflix which was nice for some of the 'siestas'
Minor thing was one door to an upstairs bedroom had a dodgy hinge. However, the owners are still working on the house and no doubt this has been repaired by now.
CAThe house is very spacious and very well located in a quiet gated community. We were the first renters, all appliances were brand new. The nearby beach was great for the kids, 2 mins walk and virtually private.
Nothing could’ve been better.
