Mama’s house

The house was comfortable and spacious. We found everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the old town (15-20 minutes). There were small grocery stores nearby. The owner kindly allowed us to leave our luggage till the afternoon.

It was situated in a small alley just off a busy street. There was not much noise from the traffic, but it was also right on the takeoff track of the planes, so one should expect the strong sound of the planes passing above.

Very helpful with their communication - allowed us to drop the bags off early while the place was being cleaned Lovely place, full of facilities 12 minutes walk to Saroko Square (where the bus leaves from) which is at the edge of the old town area

It was close to city center like 15 minutes by walking and it was not much if you live in big cities. The house was clean and the host was friendly and helpful.

Mosquitos were really badass but it was fine.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and very well equiped. All kitchen appliances, washing room, bathroom necessities. Everything seems to be thought of. Best I've seen in our entire holiday! We also enjoyed the chocolates they left for us in the fridge! There is a bus stop nearby, but we walked everywhere. Port, city and airport are all reachable in about 15 minutes.

Little dark in living room/kitchen area, but we were away during the day so it did not bother us. And you can sit outside ;) You can hear the planes, but the airport is very close to everything in Corfu Town, so I think you will have this problem at a lot of places. It was quiet during the night, so we had no troubles sleeping.

Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax. Great amenities in the kitchen for self catering.

Traffic on the neighborhood streets made it hard to walk (a problem all throughout Corfu, really)

Easy to get to from the airport, nicely priced. The hosts were extremely good & there are shops nearby.

The house is pretty much right below the landing path for the airport, so there was a lot of aircraft noise at times from very low planes. We arrived late at night & were able to access the property without any issue, but the following morning (Saturday) - a (REALLY LOUD!) petrol strimmer started up on the plot next door at 8am (6am UK time). This woke us all up and continued for over an hour. Thankfully we only stayed one night, so the planes weren't much of an issue.
