Aggelou Apartments-10 mins from Athens airport

We chose this place because it was close to the airport for our early flight, but it had so much character we wish we could have stayed longer. I enjoyed being in this neighbourhood, it’s a nice little town. Our host had taken some time to put together a local eats guide with some good value options, and had left breakfast items and a small bottle of wine for us. There was a supermarket close by, and we found the post box and clothing recycling collections on the main street very convenient. It was our hosts birthday and she’d left us a greeting note and some dessert in the fridge to celebrate. A great final experience of Athens.

Arrival was a bit confusing because the gate opens onto 3 accomodation entrances but no Reception. Our host had sent contact details in advance and I was able to give a quick call and got the instructions on how to enter straight away.

With its large garden area, it was a haven in the city. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with lovely windows looking out on the garden. 10 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the beach. Steps away from bakeries and groceries. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Sehr nah beim Flughafen. Wir sind spät in der Nacht angekommen und sind persönlich empfangen worden. Sauber, sogar ein einfaches Frühstück inklusive. Gratis Parkplätze vor dem Haus.

Super cute property with an amazing host who made sure everything was in order. Everything was organized and clean and the beds were comfortable. It was close to plenty of stores and a short drive to the airport.
