pikralida house (πικραλίδα)

Spacious, clean, stylish apartment. Equipped with everything you might need. And more! Ideal for even longer stays. Walking distance to Kalavryta center. 100m for a pretty good restaurant. Owner is very friendly and responded to messages promptly. Fruits, milk, bread, cheese, honey and more as complimentary treat.

The apartment was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals. There were a bowl of fruit, pancakes, milk and various other items provided. The firewood was provided to use in the fireplace (which we loved). The hostess was very accommodating, available at all times and she called a couple of times to check to see if we needed anything. The location was great, close to town and the train station. There were two flat screen televisions located in the living room and the bedroom. The shower in the bathroom is big and had very good water pressure. We will return to this apartment. We highly recommend to anyone to stay here when visiting Kalavryta.

The bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor. The staircase used to go upstairs is very treacherous. There is no railing to hold to when going up the stairs. It would be very difficult for anyone who has a mobility issue, disabled or small children to climb the steps. The bedroom curtains hanging on the sliding glass doors are very thin and the outside night lights shine in. We had to hang up a blanket over the curtains to block out the outside lights. A black out curtain would be nice and it would solve the problem.

Everything about this house! The decoration, the atmosphere, the location, cleaningess, the host!!
