Le petit château

La caseta és molt bonica i agradable. La cuina també és molt pràctica i el dormitori prou ampli i silenciós (tret d'un aparell d'aire condicionat proper).

El bany és molt petit i és una mica incòmode per dutxar-se, però és molt bonic i autèntic també.

Είναι ένα καθαρό και απόλυτα εξοπλισμένο κατάλυμα, σε παραδοσιακό στυλ , με την τοποθεσία να είναι από τα μεγάλα πλεονεκτήματα του.

Το μικρό και στενό μπάνιο δεν ήταν τόσο βολικό και αυτό είναι το μόνο σημείο που του αφαιρεί πόντους.

The hosts provided everything necessary for a pleasant stay, from coffee and swiming towles to quality books and guides for Ano Syros. One of the best experiences. :)

Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή, μέσα στην Άνω Σύρο, δύο λεπτά με τα πόδια από το πάρκινγκ. Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ προσεγμένο και πολύ καθαρό. Το στρώμα ήταν από αυτά που δε θες να σηκωθείς!

Le Petit Château is a beautiful place to stay in Ano Syros; it is the third time we have been there and we feel really happy in this charming, peaceful medieval little house. We really live it as an experience of sharing the life of the people of Ano Syros and its sourroundings, and not just as visitors. We feel at home and we don't want to leave the place when we are there. It has everything we need, well furnished, fonctionning, clean and peaceful, with a great dreamview from the windows. But one of the most important features of Le Petit Château is Maria : she really is a wonderful host, she's so kind and understanding. Unforgettable welcome treats that we still enjoy. We couldn't dream of a better host! Thank you again Maria, and looking forward to being there again soon !

We love it all! It's a magical place that must be deserved for people who love Syros and its people.

As soon as we walked in, we immediately fell in love with how charming it is- it’s beautifully furnished in the true Cycladic style and everything was perfectly neat and clean. It’s quite spacious and offers all the comforts needed for a short (long as well, I believe 😄)stay. The host, Maria, was very kind, provided us with all the necessary information and put herself at our disposal in case we had any other questions. Regarding the location, it couldn’t be better. Apart from offering the most gorgeous view of the entire Ermoupoli, it’s less than a minute away from the “main” street of Ano Syros where all the bars and restaurants are. To sum up, we will definitely come back again and can’t wait to do so! 😊

Great location, very good instructions, beautiful little place done with great attention to detail, a visual treat. The bed very comfortable, good lighting. Small windows with view of the sea and town below. It is lovely to stay up on the hill of Ano Syro, very romantic, but be prepared for a lot of stairs.

There are some challenging headroom situations, be prepared to duck entering and exiting but also in and out of the bathroom. The bathroom is very small and even with a lot of care using the shower the floor gets wet. Common problem in Greece.

The location is awesome! The bed was comfy.

There was no AC and it got pretty hot and there is no air circulation. The room was pretty dark because the windows are very small.

The location of the 'Château' is very good, the neighborhood is interesting and tipical Greek settlement. Close to the bus station and to some traditional shops and restaurants. The living room is a very cosy place to spend the time. The host is very helpful and answers fast regarding informations. We really liked the traditional carrying of packages, that was done by donkeys :)

The place is situated on top of a hill, walking there is quite difficult. The taxi (5euro per trip) and buses are good options, but there are only a few buses per day. We would have needed AC, because the little vent cannot handle the high temperatures.
