House Tanna of Villa Intaba Spectacular Sea Views Corfiot Riviera Spartilas Corfu Island Greece close to Ipsos Beach

This villa has incredible views over the bay, is lovely and spacious inside, and has a well-kitted-out kitchen plus washing machine for self-sufficiency during the stay. The kids loved the pool, which is small and shared with the other two properties that form part of the villa, but it's clean and well-maintained with nice pool lighting in the night.

This is not a negative about the property but just a caveat about how to get there: this is a significant way up the mountain road - 10 mins of hairpin bends and you need to be a careful and confident driver. Be prepared to give way to racy local drivers tearing up and down the blind bends including at night. (This comment applies to lots of roads in Corfu of course!) We hired a car and parked on the road above the villa. If you don't have a car you will be somewhat stuck except for walking up the road to Spartylas (20 mins).

Wir duften sogar unseren Hund, natürlich angeleint, an den Pool nehmen. Der Gastgeber Nikos ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Falls man Wünsche oder Fragen hat, ist er immer schnell zu erreichen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The views from the property were out of this world. Fantastic space. Great air con! Very comfortable bedrooms.

The drive up the hill is very steep and windy, but this is very common in Corfu.

Amaizing view and very spacious and clean

The views were amazing day and night. We stayed over Easter so had view of the spectacular Fireworks display over Corfu Town. The property was clean and spacious and the pool area private and well kept. The host was very welcoming and very helpful, giving us information about local Easter celebrations we could be part of.

The commute to the property is up hill with lots of bends so a hire car is definitely recommended as there is no easy route to food shops. We travelled before a lot of local businesses had opened for the season though so likely there is more available later in the year. The property, view and quiet was definitely worth the driving :)

The view is great and the check-in was without problems. The local representative of the owners was very friendly and helped us when our parked car was hit by another driver.

BEWARE The listing (at the time of our booking) is very misleading and deliberately incorrect in several key aspects: 1. Even though the title of the listing and the unit being booked say this is a "House", it is not a house. It is an apartment in an apartment block with about 10 other flats. 2. The distance to the beach is listed at 2.1km. This is completely incorrect - please do your own research on Google Maps to see what the distance really is. 3. The property is described as air-conditioned. It is NOT air-conditioned. Only the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The whole living area is not air conditioned. We visited in summer, when the temperatures regularly reached and exceeded 35C, and we were very uncomfortable in the living area - the only way to survive was to keep the bedroom doors opened and hope that a bit of cool air could come to the living area. Apart from this, the owners have strangely decided to take a very customer-unfriendly approach by prominently displaying signs saying "USE / ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!" all over the property, along with extensive legal disclaimers. Perhaps before we came there was an accident resulting in injury, which can be imagined as the property is on a very steep hillside. However, the listing fails to mention this so we were very negatively surprised. Be aware that safe car parking off the road is very limited. We had to leave our car by the side of the road where it was hit and damaged by another car.

Excellent accommodation , would definitely return. Amazing views . Village store and bakery a short distance away in Spartylas.

Nothing to dislike but worthy of mentioning the fact that one would, as we did, hire a vehicle to get around. Only 8-10 min drive down onto Ipsos Beach or 8-15 min drive to Barbati.
