Eleni Luxury Maisonette with Jacuzzi

Une maison agréable au quotidien, fonctionnelle et propre. Très belle terrasse, spacieuse avec un beau jacuzzi. Table à manger avec parasol et barbecue à gaz. Climatisation opérationnelle et bien appréciée lors de forte chaleur. Un joli accueil avec corbeille de fruits et boissons fraîches dans le frigo. Café, thé sont également à disposition. Die Maisonette war sehr sauber und Komfortabel. Es waren Getränke und Früchte zur Begrüssung da Das Jacuzzi hat der ganzen Familie gefallen. Wir haben es jeweils am Abend benutzt. Die Tücher und Bademäntel waren sehr kuschelig, zwei WCs das war der Hit. Für uns waren die Waschmaschine und der Parkplatz auch noch wichtig. Die Flugzeuge haben uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Morgens draussen zu Frühstücken war toll. Die Nachbarn waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für uns war der Aufenthalt hier, der absolute Hit.

The location is great if you are a plane spotter but not if you are a light sleeper as the property is adjacent to the flight path used by aircraft taking off from the very busy Heraklion Airport, with the property being close to the airport it is possible to walk to the property. The property is large and well appointed with the ability to park off street. Very close by are supermarkets, bakeries, good places to eat and there are numerous car hire companies close by.

The hot tub was not clean and had a layer of dirt on the bottom along with foaming when used indicating that it had not been cleaned correctly. The furniture on the balcony is worn including the parasol being unusable as the cords to lift it were frayed and at the point of breaking. During our stay we had a major issue where the shower flooded causing water to cascade over the staircase onto a laptop on the desk below, the owner was quick to react and discovered the cause was a blockage in the shower drain due to hair not being cleaned out prior to our visit, we had only been at the property 48 hours! The owner made promises to rectify any problem with the laptop, which was then withdrawn as it was stated the property did not have any liability insurance and that the problem was caused by ourselves as we did not notice the water flowing under the wet room door! In my many years of using Booking.com around the world I have never experienced a situation such as this and am at a loss to understand the owners attitude and belligerence.
