Villa Theodora View Apartments Erato

We stayed at Villa Erato. We found hosts very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean and has lovely view to the beach and sea. The surrounding and gardens are decorated nicely. You can see the love to the property. Nice bathroom. Moskito nets on every window.

We booked 6 nights but only stayed 2 nights. Reason for that.....the access to the apartment wasnt suitable for us. If you are not a hiker, you will have extreme difficulties to walk down or walk up the steep long drive from the carpark, especially with luggage or so. Not good if you have back or leg problemes. And the stairs down to the beach ( as others said before) are not suitable if you are not fit. If it is in the heat or after dinner even worse . We were kindly offered an apartment a tiny bit closer to carpark but it wouldnt have changed much for us and we already booked another place. One more thing...the apartment is very dark and is smaller than on photos.The bedroom feels cavelike. You have to put lights on all day. Didnt feel like a summer holiday in the sun. Sorry :(

The room was quaint, it had a small kitchen that was convenient. We asked for an iron and it was promptly brought to us. The price for the room was very good.

The property is down two extremely steep hills. Climbing out of there to get to our rental car had us winded and in a full sweat. The hot water was not working for the first two days, but the staff quickly addressed it and had it fixed the second time.
