Casa Lia-Beach Front Villa

We liked the garden even though it was not green enough as it was underwatered... We liked the location and the view to the beach. And this is all we liked...

Big improvements need to be made here... The mattress smelled bad as I lay on the bed... The kitchen utensils were either unusable because of overuse or missing. The coffee machine we hid as we saw its condition - I made coffee in a small pot. The host wanted to fix the air conditioning in one of the rooms but it never worked... So I do not know if it was meant to be repaired at all. Visibly other furniture was too old or damaged like the sofa in the living room. A big discomfort brought us the low water volume coming from the shower in the internal bathroom... It took so long to take a shower because of the small amount of water running, that it was tiring... Half of us took shower in the outside bathroom where there was no warm water but still preferable than the waiting in the internal bathroom. A lot of mosquitoes which made my life hell inside and outside of the house. By being very strict and closing the door always, screaming at the kids to close doors you can achieve some balance but this was also tiring... The only thing that worked was the spirals which we can use only outside of course. So we had to be covered in smoke all the time to chase away those creatures. A lot of dirt around that main street, a lot of stink... This was unbearable (relevant for the whole area) - I do not know why they would not take care of this. The beach is not cleaned and there were many things thrown here and there...

Limited kitchen facilities, no kettle, bottle opener, chopping board, peeler, limited cutlery and crockery. Air conditioning in one of the bedroom was not working properly. A little tired in places.

The house was like an oasis! We loved it. We spend a few perfect days there so calm right in front of the sea. Beautiful sandy beach, the garden was very big with a barbecue! The hosts were very kind. Very clean accommodation, three big bedrooms a large kitchen with everything you need to cook and spacious living room. Definitely recommend it.

Nothing

I had a wonderful vacation of one week in July. Family with 2 children and a grandmother, but there would be space for another family. We felt absolutely wonderful and we recommend it with confidence. I would like to mention that we really liked the fact that it is very close to the water and the fact that there is a great restaurant and bar right across from the house.
