Great spot out of town in the lovely countryside. Had everything we needed and great contact with the host which we really appreciated

Parking area and garden good. One way view was good.

The cottage (not a cottage just an old house) was a huge disappointment, and there were so many faults that we wanted to find somewhere else to stay. There were large damp patches in the living area and bathroom which I reported to the owner. The cooker was so old and worn that we could not see the dials. The crockery looked like it came from a jumble sale, with cups cracked and cheap pans. The shower pulled off the wall at first use, and the cubicle was dirty, and bathroom light not working. The furniture was worn and old and again looked like it came from a jumble sale. There were no hand towels, and poor quality bedding and no topper on the bed. Cobwebs in the bedroom. The BBQ was filthy and unusable, and so was the fire. No carbon monoxide monitor. Rubbish was left outside, and cigarette ends littered outside. I have made formal complaints to the owner and Booking.com. Curtains were dirty. We paid for the whole property, but the rooms upstairs were locked. The property was misrepresented, and cannot and should not be recommended in its present state.

Cosy house, plenty of space for up to 8 people. Nice lake walk nearby

Very beautiful view and lots of room inside. Very clean
