Joes Cottage

The cottage is fabulous, beautiful views, bright and warm with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. The kids loved meeting and feeding the goats and the ponies too. Definitely somewhere we will return to again

Everything was perfect but a downside for us was the brightness of the upstairs bedrooms in the mornings due to no blinds on the skylight windows. This might not bother other people but with young children it's an early rise.

Great house, One of the best equipped house we have ever stayed at, Keven was very warm and welcoming, Will be the top of the list when ever I am in the west again

We had an amazing Christmas holiday at Kevin's place ! the house is bigger than expected, warm, exceptionally cleaned, with all the facilities that you need to enjoy your stay; wifi is very good, TV with live streaming is a plus. We also really appreciated Kevin taking some time to show the goats, poneys and kittens to our 4 years old, so we definitely recommend this place to people with children as they will love feeding and petting the animals and play in the garden/playground. Chocolates and fruits upon arrival were a lovely touch too. Christmas this year could not be better, thank you very much for your time and kindness Kevin !

The house was comfortable, welcoming and exceptionally clean. There were only two of us but there'd be plenty of space for six. The price was reasonable and would be really excellent value for a group. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The location is handy, just a short drive from Kilrush. Kevin was helpful, welcoming and quick to answer messages.

The downstairs shower didn't drain very well.

Very nice. Spotless. Great location. Friendly and helpful host Kev.loved the horses and goats. Close to kilrush. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thanks again

It was convenient for us to visit family in the area. Also convenient to Shannon Airport. Kevin and his family were really helpful and are a lovely family. We were there for a family occasion and Joe's cottage was ideal for us and very comfortable as well as being in a lovely setting. It is near to the local town and supermarkets. We would have no hesitation in staying there again and highly recommending Joe's Cottage as a holiday destination in beautiful Country Clare.

The weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed our stay.

Joe’s cottage is a fine house. Its modern, spacious and has all the things you’d look for. Kevin was a most gracious host. Upon arrival we were treated to the most delicious chocolate buns and fresh fruit. There was milk and water in the fridge as well as tea and coffee. Kevin showed us his ponies and goats and the kids had a ball petting and feeding them. Kevin couldn’t have been nicer throughout and aside from the wonderful house itself, the location is ideal for exploring west Clare. I’d happily recommend.
