Dan Rua's Cottage

The cottage was absolutely clean and one had the feeling to be like at home. Absolutely warm hearted contact with our host Margaret. We enjoyed it so much.

Beautifully restored, decorated and furnished old cottage. Charming and cozy living room, very comfortable beds. Helpful and friendly owners. Comprehensive booklet of things to do in the area (and there are plenty!) A real home from home, and we'd be back like a shot were we to visit the area again. Highly recommended.

The cottage is adjacent to a long and straight but not very busy road. Little traffic, but when an occasional car speeds past you do hear it. Ireland was very hot during our stay, so we had all windows open at night, accentuating the traffic sounds. My wife slept like a baby, and I ran a white noise app on my phone so the traffic didn't bother me either. Just something to be aware of if you're very sensitive to such things.

we wanted some greenery instead of a hotel room, so this was perfect. gorgeous, clean, good location for us. Margaret was a wonderful host.

Great location, peace and quiet was amazing, will definitely be back next year.

Nothing really, cottage was spotlessly clean, everything you needed was supplied, off road parking was a real bonus, lots of places to eat and drink, just great really.
