House was immaculate with beautiful goodies basket left for our arrival - a pleasant surprise. Location was perfect for our needs. Host made contact to see if all was OK. Cannot rate this stay high enough, a definite 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful stay at Tilly's Cottage. The weather was sunny all week, which made the stunning surroundings even more enjoyable. The cottage itself is beautiful—cosy, spotlessly clean, and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view over Dunmanus Bay was breathtaking, and the peaceful rural setting was just what we were looking for. Frances, the host, was so kind and welcoming—she came over to say hello, which added a lovely personal touch. We’d highly recommend Tilly’s Cottage to anyone looking to unwind and soak up the beauty of West Cork. We’re already hoping to return!

Everything. The location was super. Close to the village of Durrus - shop, restaurant, few pubs. Tillys cottage is very comfortable with all essentials and much more. A hamper of food on the table provided a very warm welcome after a long journey. Fresh soda bread, milk, salmon and lots of treats awaited us.... exceptional stay.

Absolutely nothing. Perfect experience from start to finish. Loved it !

Exceptionally well maintained and probably the best equipped kitchen we have ever has in a very long time.

It was a perfect and cozy place and we could visit all goals in bantry, killarney and Cork with ease. It was our 6 trip to Ireland and absolutely the best cottage we had since.

Even if you try you will not find anything to write here.

Communications with Frances, The Host were great from the start. Engaging & Friendly. You got a good vibe before you arrived. Directions to the Cottage VIA Eircode which brings you to the door. Entry instructions clear & precise, simple. Location is rural however close to the nearest village which was exactly what we were after. Perfect spot to tour & discover West Cork. The Welcome pack Frances laid on went way over & above our expectations. Other reviews had complimented Frances however she had thought of everything & so much more. Frances takes enormous pride in her cottage & how it is presented. Lots of work has gone in to making sure the stayers have the best possible experience. Attention to detail would be a good Moto for Tilly's Cottage. The litmus test is would I recommend Tilly's Cottage to Friends / Family & would I return for another visit. The answer is 100% yes.. The Cottage did not get a 9.9 rating by accident. Lots of effort, hard work & thought has gone into this property by the owner. Thank you Frances for the opportunity to stay in your wonderful house which I know you are extremely proud of. Hope to see you some time soon.

Having to leave the Cottage. For us there wasn't anything not to like.

Frances is a wonderful host. Thank you very much for the big welcome basket! Very clean and comfortable, spacious, beautiful and quiet location. You can take many nice trips from there (Mizen Peninsula, Sheeps Head, Garinish Island, Clonakilty, Ring of Beara, ...).

It was a bit strange having to drive the waste to the dump yourself.
