Lakeside retreat

The house is comfortable, nice and and clean, you really feel at home . The double beds are super comfy and I am specially pickie with the beds. The single beds are not that comfortable, they are hard. Bathroom is great, new and clean 👌 The views to river are great

Some kitchen utils need a refresher. The entrance got really muddy with the rain , someone might get the car stuck when rainy

The view and surroundings were ideal for relaxation.

Very comfy beds in the double rooms, clean, plenty of cutlery and kitchen utensils. Quiet place, right on the lake which is beautiful to walk down to in the morning, heating was very easy to use, as was the shower and cooking facilities.

This is a superb rental house in a brilliant location right off the Shannon. We stayed here as a base whilst in the location for a family wedding, and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for our dog to run around, great wildlife nearby if you're up early enough to go bird watching and within a 15-minute drive of Carrick-On-Shannon itself. There were plenty of facilities, including two TVs, a good-sized fridge, and a clean bathroom. It really was a great find and even better value for money.

There wasn't anything to dislike really as the property exceeded expectations and the host was friendly. I just wish we'd been down longer so as to be able to head out on the river.

Das Haus hat eine super Lage am Wasser. Wer will.kann sich von der Vermieterin Kajaks ausleihen. Nach Carrick in Shannon sind es weniger Kilometer. Das Haus ist super sauber, die Betten bequem. Für Hunde ist das Gelände ideal. Der Kontakt zu Rachel lief problemlos über die App.

Location...

Spotless house and extremely comfy beds. Rachael was very helpful with recommendations and flexible with check in/out times. Renting the kayaks is a must, great fun and even more fun trying to get in and out of them ! The small pitch and putt is a good addition too. Our large dog loved all the outside space and the peace and quiet. Would've liked a little more of the long grass cut for him to run around but just a very small thing as all the cut out paths to the lake, hammocks etc were perfect.
