We really enjoyed our stay at Preston house. The location, rooms and staff were all wonderful. Great amenities, restaurants, pubs and walks all at the door step of the house in Abbeyleix. Looking forward to staying again and would highly recommend staying here.

We had such a wonderful stay at preston house, the building, location, staff are all wonderful. The house has a wonderful old classic and grand feel and is steeped in history. We enjoyed it so much we have decided to have our wedding there. Highly recommend.

"Excellent"

It is a beautiful period house set in the centre of town.

There wasn't a TV in the bedroom and the one downstairs only had YouTube. The bed needed a warmer douvet.

Fantastic period house in the centre of a wonderful village. Full of charm, the house lended itself so well to our group booking: fabulous entertaining spaces and relaxing areas, fully stocked kitchen, open fires and beautiful lighting. It was dreamy. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are first class. Ross, the owner, is a gentleman and reccomended Bramley and Morriseys and both exceeded our expectations!
